Depression is about the pasT.

Anxiety is about the future.

Waylon Davis (Sam Cass) has abandoned his past and moved into an apartment across the country with a unique problem: there’s a hole in his floor through which he can see himself eight minutes in the past.

He drops a note down to his past self, who ignores it, which leaves Waylon wondering how this whole thing works. Is what already happened unchangeable? If so, wouldn’t that mean he got a note too? His question is answered when he finds a crumpled note with the words “Look Up” written on it, in his handwriting. He does so and discovers a hole in his ceiling with a view eight minutes into his future, where he is getting beaten to death by the building manager Rick (Glenn Fleshler) for reasons unknown.

With only eight minutes to figure out what is about to go wrong, Waylon becomes enthralled with using his unique view through time to change his path. He doesn’t realize that in doing so he’s ensured tragedy not just for himself, but for Rick’s daughter Tessa (Sydney Agudong), who has seen these events transpire eight months before they occur. She becomes our hero as she too works to prevent a murder that hasn’t happened yet… her own.
